Kids, ages 9-11 are invited to join us at the library to make their own pizza. All supplies provided.

Registration is required for this program. Please call the Chesapeake Library at 740-867-3390 to sign your child up.

Everyone loves to launch things into the air and now you can by creating your own catapult using popsicle sticks and other supplies. Then use your catapult to launch candy pumpkins in the air! How far can you make them fly?

For Kids in Grades 2-6th.

We will be screening one of the Harry Potter movies. Teens in attendance will select which movie they want to watch. Snacks will be provided.

Need help designing or making your Halloween or cosplay costume? Stop by the library for help with sewing and guidance on design. Sewing machines and other embellishments will be available for use. Attendees are asked to bring the base of their costume and any materials that they would like to utilize for their design.

For Teens, grades 6-12.

Learn how to apply costume makeup with the guidance of some of your teen peers who specialize in costume make-up. The workshop will feature tips and a demonstration.

It's time to get spooky at the Library! Teens, come dressed in your best Halloween costume and join us for a variety of party games, dancing, contests, and more!

Teens, you too can paint almighty pictures. Come paint on happy little canvases and watch an episode of Bob Ross: The Joy of Painting. Follow along with Bob Ross or paint your own design. All supplies and snack provided.
